Hi everybody, what a day its been.
LG has been fairly quiet all day with comings and goings of fish deliveries, I think it was 5 in all. Those chicks are enormous now, coming up to their peak growing spurt.
At LOTL things have taken, at present, a turn for the better. I will try and post the last blog that Peter wrote::
21 June 2010 2:36 UpdateWhat a day it has been for all involved. Isn’t this bird amazing, she has now fed herself and the chicks 4 times now this evening. This is good news and yes there is a but, but she still is not 100%. Let's hope our male can get some fish into the nest early tomorrow morning so she can feed again soon. Fiona and I will be here through the night to keep an eye on her. We will keep the blog updated as usual, which reminds me to thank the guys at Red Paint for getting the blog up and running again. They do a great job for us.Peter
Thats for those of you who don't always get time to look at LOTL's blog. Hope it helps.
At present, EJ is getting some shuteye and the chicks are dozing with the occasional bit of restlessness. I think it must be midges that keep going in front of the camera.
Night, night, all back in the morning.

Thanks Lynette! Sleep tight!
All quiet at LG where EJ seems to be on a flyabout - or hanging out nearby.
Thanks Lynette. :-)
EJ flew away from the nest a good while ago. Probably about and hour ago if I remember correctly. Not been back since, so I'm guessing she's got fed up with awkward sleeping position and decided to find a close by comfortable tree to rest on.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Daylight cam and color. Must've woken the chicks up too! :-) Lots of fidgeting.
Ej returns to nest and is calling' chicks are stirring - EJ is backing up and heeeeeere's Odin! And off he goes and we have a fish! All chicks look interested today and are lining up to eat.
My goodness; still so well mannered. All lined up and middle chick (no idea which is which) is craning its neck to eat. Chick on the left isn't being very assertive so not getting as much as the others right now - ah, eating now. How lucky we are to have such a low-stress family this year! Let's hope it stays that way!
EJ is calling and seems to be mantling - looking about - settled now. (All well at LOTL this morning,)
Hi Heron (well, a bit late since it's been a while since you were here). Didn't see that post earlier. Absolutely glorious sunrise at LG. EJ catching the rays on her gorgeous feathers. Speckled fatties sprawled in the nest. All very serene.
Anyone out there?
Well, I'm about to sign off from LG - everyone fat and happy and one fish delivered and eaten a while back. All got fed and very orderly too! I've said it before and I'll say it again - glorious day at LG.
Take care all.
