Hi everyone and especially to all the new bloggers. Welcome to our crazy site.
The day started off with webcam lost but came back in the morning.
Odin delivered 9 fish yesterday, equalling his record of last year for the most in one day.
Weather forecast for the East side of Scotland/England doesn't look too promising but lets keep our fingers crossed that all will be well.
EJ is settled on the nest and keeping her offspring covered as best she can.
Happy viewing and see you all in the morning.

Breezy. Quiet on the nest but one chick is not sleeping - its little head is peering out into the darkness. Welcome to all New Bloggers. We overseas people will try to keep watch on the nest until sleepyheads wake up.
A couple of the chicks looking quite restless. Poor EJ must be thinking: 'Just let me get some sleep, please.'
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Hi everyone.
very strange image at the moment. EJ has her head tucked behind her winds, but is facing the camera so looks headless and the chicks are buried under the front of her but can't all get under there:)1.19am
2 fidgetting chicks disturbing EJ. One little head still bobbing about.
BTW, Wattle & Barbara Jean have posted comments of interest on end of yesterday's Daily.
Just noticed what appears to be a strange looking flickering shadow at the nest. Looks kinda spooky.
Heron - The ghosts of ospreys past . . . EJ awake and trying to shelter chicks from wind. Soft clucking.
Evening all: 7:40 p.m. our time; already light again at LG - only how many more days until the longest day of the year? - where did it go. Anyway, all quiet on the nest.
Won't be able to stay up late tonight since have to drive to L.A. tomorrow to see friend and do some other stuff and need my driving sleep (used to be beauty sleep but oh well...) :-)
Color at LG!!
Wattle/Barbara Jean: Thanks for the reminder (in your late posts on yesterday's thread) re the upcoming change in fish numbers: Hope you don't mind I copied them here since it was new info for me and may help others know what's going on.
From Wattle: "I think this may be a very opportune time to remind everyone that this is the time of peak demand for food for these youngsters, and that soon it will drop off a bit. We are already seeing #1 deciding to hang back from an occasional meal. So PLEASE don't get upset when Odin eases off a little on the deliveries. These two adults show a lot of wisdom with caring properly for their broods. And then, when it comes time for the chicks to be thinking about fishing for themselves, Odin has to MAKE them want to fish by letting them get a bit hungry. These lucky chicks have never known real hunger, and it will take a bit of that when the time comes for them to stop relying on 'room service'. ;-)
From Barbara Jean: "Wattle 15 is right that in a week or two Odin will bring in fewer fish. Roy Dennis says they don't need as much food after their bones and main feathers are formed. He said they still beg as if they are starving LOL . Plus he suspects the parents let up on the food so they weigh a bit less for their first flight. The way these three have been eating and gaining weight there is no chance they will be thin birds for their first flights . Let just hope they can get all that weight air borne :) "
EJ up and about - it's gotta be Odin incoming.....and it's Himself! With a good-sized fish of course.
