I must have clicked something by mistake and I am getting HUNDREDS of notifications of postings. It says to go to the RSPB Community page -edit profile --site options tab- then under email configuration set notification as NO
I have looked every where for this and I can't find where to do this.
I tried my page and set that as no emails. but it has not corrected the problem.. So far this evening I have gotten "several hundred" notifications all the way back to yesterday .
Can some one PLEASE tell me how to correct this Thanks I am desparate !!

My settings, for NOT receiving notifications. Go to My Page and select Edit Profile
Receive community emails = Yes
(this doesn't seem to matter - perhaps it relates to emails sent out by RSPB themselves)
Receive notifcations by email = No
AND - don't forget to scroll down and click on the "Save changes" button.
Hope this works - if not, suggest you report as a Technical Problem on the main forum.

I did this, but then went back to double checked it said it may take 10 minutes or so for it to update. I haven't gotten any now in about a half hour so maybe it worked

There were so many emails from yesterday they were being batched and sent to me in groups of 70 !!
