Webcam still down; let's see what the morrow brings...
All three chicks are active and moving around the nest exploring. EJ keeps her beady eye on proceedings.
Has anyone noticed that the camera seems to have gremlins in it again - keeps blacking out and coming back on.

Afternoon Brenda wondered where you were today. As you have probably seen 3 v ery full chicks again as Odin is being magnificent as awlays. Looks a bit windy at LG, hope that does not herald a weather change for them.

Lynette it always seems a bit iffy in the afternoons for some reason, frustrating when you can hear but not see. One thing i have noticed is that one the chicks was sneezing, I have seen it a couple of times. Perhaps it is allergic to the moss in the nest.
All's well that end's well, as the saying goes Lindybird. Very frustrating though. Glad that you're back. Not a lot other than lay about chicks and an EJ chilling out to report. No doubt Odin will be back soon with yet another fish.
Just moving over from the normal Blog, and trying to refrain from posting too much detail now as per Katie's request! I recorded this earlier, but for got to post it - the chicks waking up after a lazy period and preening/stretching out their growing wings. I think I can see the difference between nos. 1 and 2 now:

Welcome Robert the Bruce and pleased you have now joined us. Thanks for the clip you can really see how much these chicks have grown when they spread their wings. It is going to get awfully crowded on this nest shortly.
Robert the Bruce - this doesn't have to be an either/or choice - we are pleased that you have joined us here to discuss the LG nest, or on the Weekly Chat for other topics, but you can still contribute comments on the LG Blog, as many of us do.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Hi everyone.
A very warm welcome to all the new posters, great to see you all here. Delighted the webcam is back on as I was starting to get serious withdrawl symptoms. Thanks for all the updates since I was last on.
Here's EJ looking great in the sunshine, while the chicks have a siesta.

Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
EJ gone for a flyabout - family home alone. Is that down or moss at the top end of the nest, can't quite make it out.
Looking at the way they are sleeping, I make #1 left, #2 centre, and Titch right. Correct me if I'm wrong.
