Hi everybody,
Its been another eventful day, Odin has been a great dad and provided for his family as usual
Chicks are getting more adventurous in the nest.
EJ being a wonderful mum. Intruder has been about again but has been sent packing.
At the moment EJ is trying to rest but the youngsters keep wriggling about so disturb her.
Happy viewing, see you all in the morning.

Morning all and what an amazing morning it has been. 4 fish from Odin is a fishtastic achievement in such a short space of time. Thanks go to everyone for the scale by scale commentary of this mornings events. Also thanks to Tiger for reminding us of Odins ode. EJ must be thinking "looks like we need a bigger nest".
#1 chick has come to investigate the camera !
...having a good look round....
Meant to say thanks to all for pics so excited about the fish deliveries so far. The chicks are obviously stuffed as the fish is still there.
Margobird
Was just thinking that, as I took this pic margobird;
Noticed in my previous picture, that the chick is in the usual 'resting' pose when sitting - their claws do not touch the nest. I wonder if that's so that they grow correctly so that when adult, they can grip the branch better with curled talons. (& fish)
---Chicks are waking and calling: EJ looks at the fish underneath one of them and is a bit lost as to how to get it from underneath if they are hungry!
EJ looks as if she is trying to get the 'old' fish ... but one of the chicks has been having a go at her ... twice ... as she reached for it!! Now she's walking round the other side ... still can't get it! Now the chicks are back lying on it

Lindybird this is so funny to watch EJ trying to work out how she can get that fish from underneath the chicks.
She sounds as if she's food soliciting her own chicks for that fish :-)) Quite funny!
This is so funny it's stopping me from working! She's sneaking round the back of them now.
