Hi everybody,
Its been another eventful day, Odin has been a great dad and provided for his family as usual
Chicks are getting more adventurous in the nest.
EJ being a wonderful mum. Intruder has been about again but has been sent packing.
At the moment EJ is trying to rest but the youngsters keep wriggling about so disturb her.
Happy viewing, see you all in the morning.

...the Giant Babies are waking up again, and starting to move.....
..... EJ looks at one of them in disbelief... is that mine?
Thanks for the reminder of Patrick's, Ode to Odin, Tiger.
All is calm , have to go out so will catch up later.
Thanks for reminding us of Odin's Ode, Tiger. He is certainly a remarkable bird. I was so thrilled when EJ accepted him again this year, what a wonderful pair they make.
Someone please put a leash on Titch!!!!!!!
Everything in life is speaking in spite of its apparent silence.
EJ just had a good stare at the camera "Well, its not my fault they are so Huge, is it?"
Titch has had a good wander around the nest, watched by EJ - he/she is chattering away, don't know whether that indicates male or female!!
Good morning all and WOW Odin in overdrive. 4 fish for the nest and a fifth one taken away for himself. Couldn't believe we are up to page 10 on the daily chat so new something had happened to prompt all the posts. Thenks to the night shift who for a change got to see Odin in his full glory brining these fish in. It will be interesting to find out where he is getting them as they all came in such quick succession. As I type the chicks preening, looking around and looking bigger than yesterday. Is the fihs still there as I can't see it at the moment or have they scoffed that one down as well. Simply wonderful to watch this year, only minor scuffles between the chicks and I love it when they try to stare each other out.
Have a good day all now off to catch up with the weekly chat.

Well I think I have answered my own question and can see the fish.
Well, when the fish are there, Odin really hauls them in, doesn't he? By my reckoning, that waa 4 fish in the space of 1 1/2 hours, and then a possible 5th fish at 8.41, which he took away again. Incredible!!! At least the chicks are getting a chance to become very familiar with a fish! that does sound very much like a blowfly though. Hope they get around to eating the spare fish soon, or it will go "off". ;-)
Smiles, Jan.
