Hi everybody,
Its been another eventful day, Odin has been a great dad and provided for his family as usual
Chicks are getting more adventurous in the nest.
EJ being a wonderful mum. Intruder has been about again but has been sent packing.
At the moment EJ is trying to rest but the youngsters keep wriggling about so disturb her.
Happy viewing, see you all in the morning.

She wasn't gone long & has just returned
so, still 1 fish left in the nest under the chicks...
i think it'll be a while before that gets eaten...
Is that not the one that EJ was just eating?
Goodness me, when I saw all those posts I thought there must be something wrong... Hooray for Odin, Fisherman of the Year!
EJ standing on one leg at the side of the nest at present, chicks all stuffed and asleep.
Woodpecker said: Is that not the one that EJ was just eating?
no, that was 1/2 of another one!
#1 chick is actually lying on a whole uneaten fish at the moment
I think the fish is still there. It is under the chick in the front, it was in that place early this morning.
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
good to see EJ had plenty to eat herself this morning - and does't she look so contented standing on the edge of the nest beside her sleepy offspring.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Just gone back and read thru all those posts....what an eventful few hours. Yes, OG its good to see EJ looking content: yesterday we were all a little worried that she took so little of the fish herself, and she has to keep her strength up.
