Hi everybody,
Its been another eventful day, Odin has been a great dad and provided for his family as usual
Chicks are getting more adventurous in the nest.
EJ being a wonderful mum. Intruder has been about again but has been sent packing.
At the moment EJ is trying to rest but the youngsters keep wriggling about so disturb her.
Happy viewing, see you all in the morning.

It is comical watching EJ trying to cover chicks. She is sitting on a little mountain.
This has been a most exciting afternoon but now I must head for the kitchen or we won't eat this eve.Over to the Day Shift. I hope you have as entertaining day as we have. If there weren't other bloggers on, I might have thought I was dreaming :-)

Is EJ brooding the chicks and the fish ?
Or did she move the fish that was under the chicks?
the fish hadn't moved, so it must be under EJ
Good grief ... I just logged on and saw 7 pages to read on the daily update ... I knew something must have happened! How nice to read that it was 4 fish delivered so early, and not something awful :-))
Looks a bit wet at LG, so if Odin can't fish much more today the chicks have been well and truly stuffed!

DjoanS there is still a large an uneaten fish under the chicks LOL Odin was delivering them so fast EJ never got to that one. I think she knows it is there.

DjoanS Me too - can't believe the amount of food in the chicks/on the nest! If Ofin fishes in the River Spey, he might just be going to Boat of Garten, otherwise it must be the hijacked truck!
7 pages and 4 fish? Lots to catch up on here then!!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Odin just brough fish #5, but i'm fairly sure he flew off with it; maybe it wasn't a fish, but he cerainly had something in his talons
EJ alarm calling and mantling. Odin flew in to help defend the nest. She was softly peeping at him so I think she also wanted him to take some of the fish, but he flew off when the intruder was out of the area .
