Hi everyone, been an eventful day, 7 fish in all, chicks have been eating all they can and are getting bigger by the day.
All peaceful on the nest and EJ looks to be getting some sleep.
Happy watching, see you in the morning.

Lovely pic Sandra but sadly EJ as decided to bring the fish round to the other side of the nest and can't see what sort of size this fish was. Did you notice when it came in how big it was.
Margobird
We can't see, EJ !!!!
---- but it sounds great !
For those of you who missed it . Clip of fish delivery and EJ taking the fish round the nest so we cant see the chicks being fed. Watch how she looks at the camera just before turning to feed the chicks:

Guessing it must have been a decent size as they are still eating.
Thanks Alan for the clip that answered my question, it was a decent size fish. I have missed both deliveries today. Hopefully EJ is not going to hide the chicks from us when they are feeding.
As you say Lindybird sound effects were great. Looks like the chicks are settling down for a siesta now their little tummies are a bit fuller.
Thanks for the clip, Alan. Noticed, as you said, how she looked straight at the camera !
No. 1 chick moving sticks around, better put them in the right place or EJ will be shifting them again. Amazing how quickly they learn from the parents. I noticed that when EJ was looking for a fish that same chick was also calling just like EJ.
ALAN - Thank you so much for that clip, brilliant! I missed the delivery and so it was great. Loved the way EJ seemed to look the camera straight in the eye as she was on her circuit of the nest. I know that (not on this blog) someone mentioned that we shouldn't 'humanise' the ospreys, but its difficult not to see some of their behaviours through a human eye, if you know what I mean. We are all creatures of some sort.
Off topic but Lady at LOtL is feeding her 2 chicks.
