Hi everyone, been an eventful day, 7 fish in all, chicks have been eating all they can and are getting bigger by the day.
All peaceful on the nest and EJ looks to be getting some sleep.
Happy watching, see you in the morning.

EJ just went off for s short break - was she looking for her errant spouse? Wish he'd come in with fish for the hungry baiirns.
Still waiting, then. It must have been very difficult first thing and of course we don't know whether the fog has lifted over the water to make fishing possible. We will have to be patient, I am sure he will deliver in time.
Oh. I've been for a shower as had been mooching about half dressed, and expected to come back and find them fighting over the latest fish. Never mind, expect he's on his way!
EJ may be getting concerned. She is busy oiling her feathers in case she needs to go fishing.

EJ preening and waiting.....
EJ calling, could it be fish delivery on its way, although it looks as though she is half mantling - the intruder could be about. It looks like it is the way she is behaving.
Perhaps it was a warning to some bird, Lynette - she is bound to be a bit touchy after all the intruder incidents there have been lately.
Mr Blackbird was joining in then, but he seems to have stopped now. The chicks are up and preening and being curious as to what is over the side of the nest.
Having a go at the sticks with their beaks - quite comical .
