All quiet, chicks are chunnering, EJ is fidgity because the chicks keep wriggling.
Been a bit of an eventful day
Weather looks dry at present so lets hope today brings some sunshine for a change.
Happy watching to you all from overseas. See you in the morning.

EJ has certainly built up the fence on the left side of the nest .
She only left an opening at the far side as we look at it.
She must be expecting this brood to be more curious than last year's brood.

Shame the camera casts a shadow over the nest. They could get a good warm up in the evenings. On saying that,of course, the rest of the summer is going to be SO warm they will probably be glad of the shade to cool down !!!!
All good news on the nest today:
Good to see the mighty Odin is in his usual top form, 6 fish (so far) brought in at a steady rate all day.
Good to catch up with the events after being out all day with a great commentary on this thread.
Good that the latest feed (only one I managed to see live) was even more polite than ever (It gives me an inkling as to the sex of the chicks).
Good to see that #1 has sprouted so many feathers today, and now has a recognisable tail.
Fantastic to see such a contented scene:
Lindybird - I can but agree. He messed up the sink and worktops gutting it and cleaning it, I looked in the sink at the head and thought - yes - Odin could have done something with that!
how well camouflaged afe the chicks at LOTL., incredible
Good evening all and so nice to see EJ and chicks sitting in the evening sunshine. 6 fish delivered so far by wonderful Odin and 3 chicks that grow everytime I look.
Heather B just had to laugh at your comment about Odin could have something with that fish.

Its a beautiful evening in Inverness and by the looks of it, also at LG. What a lovely sight - sun and shadows on the nest, peace perfect peace.

Such a good capture DjoanS I think EJ better start building a heli-pad for Odin to land on. Those chicks are so huge now there is no room for him to land.
WOW Now Chick #! is walking upright on it's legs ! It is walking in circles to practice
A lot of preening going on in the evening sun - getting dressed up for dinner?
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
