All quiet, chicks are chunnering, EJ is fidgity because the chicks keep wriggling.
Been a bit of an eventful day
Weather looks dry at present so lets hope today brings some sunshine for a change.
Happy watching to you all from overseas. See you in the morning.

Is it Titch, just out of camera shot, getting a bit adventurous, right at the edge of the nest. EJ seems unconcerned. Now coming back into shot and settling down again in the cup , while the older two have a bit of exercise, all chunnering away to each other, wonder what they are saying!!!

Lovely pic of them Sandra.
Margobird
Just logged on to three chicks home alone...................................................oh and here comes EJ :)
Cirrus they have had few scraps over the feeding but if EJ is away from the nest they will start aggitating each other but it never lasts for long. Much more gentle nest behaviour this year don't you think.
Oh................off she goes again..................................aaaaaaand back again!
They could look like this in 6 weeks time.....
Ah, Brenda H thanks for that pic. I remember that sight well :)
Have added gamma and contrast to Brenda's picture :
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Thanks Brenda me thinks they are well on the way to looking like Rothes, Mallachie and Garten. I have a sneaky feeling they are all females again but we will have to wait and see.
original goldfinch that brings it all back. Rothes and Mallachie with their back packs.
