All quiet, chicks are chunnering, EJ is fidgity because the chicks keep wriggling.
Been a bit of an eventful day
Weather looks dry at present so lets hope today brings some sunshine for a change.
Happy watching to you all from overseas. See you in the morning.

Just watched chick 1 spread his wings and have a bit of a flap and that really illustrates how big they are getting. Hope it stops reasonably dry for them from now on because there is now way EJ can shelter them all now, they would have to take turns.

That's enough housework for today, this is far more interesting.
Thanks for stats info, for pics and updates, its certainly been happening.
At present EJ is at the side of the nest preening while her family are dozing, coming to now and again., otherwise quiet for the time being with no sign of the intruder. Let's hope it got the message last time.
Looking at the weather forecast at 1.30 on the Beeb it looks a bit more promising for up there at LG.
Chicks beginning to stir and preen themselves. Titch still half asleep. Lovely domestic scene with mum looking on.
That was chick two having a go at eldest - silly billy. However, observing one and three chick I'm beginning to think both are girls cos of the 'feather arrangement' at the top of their breast. ?
Mmmmm. Methinks they might all be girls again cos of the bibs being high on their little breasts.
We are all standing:-)
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Afternoon Lynette pleased to read that weather looks a bit more promising. EJ, Odin and chicks have certainly had some wet weather of late. I find it a bit upsetting when EJ sits in rain for most of the day and worry about the chicks getting cold now they no longer fit under her very well. Chicks have been quite active today, lots of preening and some wing stretching from No. 1 chick. I smile when I see them doing this as the balance is not quite there yet and they always tip forward on to their face.
Titch takes on #2 and is soon taught a lesson,
Have you all noticed that they have all got three stripes on their heads?? I don't think last years chicks were like that.
