Been a bit of an eventful day
Weather looks dry at present so lets hope today brings some sunshine for a change.
Happy watching to you all from overseas. See you in the morning.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Morning Brenda 3 fish already, must be easier for Odin to fish today. It is amazing how she knows he is around, have got to recognise when a fish is coming by her calls. You know you will only wait a minute and in he comes. Titch was first up and No 3 chick doesn't seem to be interested. Chick 2 thought he/she had better queue up eventually and now getting fed. Had to laugh when Titch and 2 chick (I think) both pooped in unison. Odin stll with them as there is obviously an itnruder around from his piercing whilstles. Nice to see him protecting EJ and gthe chicks. Odin just left so he must think all is OK for now. Still catching up with yesterday's posts. Logged off later than usual and it seems to have been so busy overnight on the various blogs.
Margobird
Second hatched started the feed, Oldest joined in later both feeding well but youngest either not hungry or cowed by intruder alert from dad-But Odin gone and is still not showing any interest in fish. Well, it fed an hour ago I suppose but bet it's up first next fish. :)
No 2 chick fed first Margobird. For whatever reason, eldest hung back but got his fair share when he joined chick 2.
EJ felt relaxed enough to go for a comfort break:
but then returned, looking at the sky and is now calling again:
EJ alarm calling and mantling, chicks keeping their heads down.
The intruder is obviously overhead as she keeps looking upwards.
EJ has quietened down and is trying to brood those not so little chicks. They are sleeping their feed off whilst EJ keeps a lookout for intruders.
Not a 'headless' pic, but nevertheless, a good Owl impression, as EJ looks all around her for threats and perhaps the location of Odin:
