Quite windy at LG at the moment. EJ managing just to keep all chicks warm.
Odin delivered 6/7 fish, not quite sure. Fairly uneventful except for the times when the chicks were scoffing their food. Makes for amusing watching
Happy watching to all early morning viewers
Strange sounds coming through the mike, sounds like firecrackers going off, hope its not shooting in any way or form. Could be the sound of fireworks. Certainly got EJ listening and watching something.

Brenda - you're sterling. There it was in one post. All the fish deliveries. Very many thanks. Just got back from a great 11 mile hike in south Wales. Terrific pics everyone - (Djoan, Lindybird, Sandy, Sandra - hope I have not missed anyone) - just great to be able to 'see' it all - thanks for those too. Now off to wash my hair,
The chicks have pushed up so close to EJ & the fish that she doesn't need to offer the bits to them. She is just tearing off pieces and one or the other grabs it from her beak before she raises her head much
They are hungry!!
EDIT: EJ just swallowed the tail and they are all lined up wanting more . EJ didn't call Odin for more so perhaps he already left to get another fish
It takes quite a while to get to and from the fish farm, but he should have time to bring another fish before nightfall.

Going by your post times, it only took 5/6 mins to eat that fish. Odin needs to bring in a whale next time.
Just logged in again and got my wish Odin has delivered again and a fair size at that. One more before bedtime would be good. Thanks for all the pics as well, can never see enough and have so many saved now goodness knows how long it will take to view them all. Something to look at in the winter months when we are wishing our lives away waiting for the ospreys to return.

EJ started helping with the fishing last year on June 21st ( I think) Since she is larger she can carry larger fish. She may need to start doing that again this year,
5 birds to feed is a lot for one male to satisfy . Plus I am sure Odin needs to eat more because he is burning so much energy by fishing nearly non stop.
Chicks are making cute little noises at the moment.
Logged on again to find EJ gone for a break and the chicks home alone.
Glad to see Odin delivered, lets hope there's one more before bedtime??
Chicks having a shifty about.
Goodie a supper fish
EJ back with an enormous stick which promptly landed on the chicks. Now arranging it to the right of the nest.
Ah, that's done, now what is that over there or there. EJ surveying the horizon.
She's started calling, and its Odin with another F I S H
