The wind had died down, no rain, hurah, and EJ is getting some kip with the occasional wriggle from the chicks.
Happy viewing to all our overseas watchers and see you in the morning.

That branch has now done two circuits of the nest:
EJ keeping watch, chicks stirring - half awake. Still the stick in the centre of the nest.
1 or 2 going round the outside of the others and now back again - wonder what that was for???? Watching what mum is doing and taking note." Now shall I do what my mum is doing or just make a note for later."
EJ now trying to heave the large branch over the chicks who are finding that a wee bit uncomfortable. Mum what are you doing???? Nearly falls off the nest trying to lug it to the edge. Those poor chicks wonder what is going on.
Now she takes it to the other side of the nest - oh EJ what are you doing? No, not happy with it there, moving it again to the other side nearer the camera end. I know what I'm doing look then.
EJ is taking the "small tree" for a walk around the nest again LOL
It looks like her plan was to put it on the opening of the rim of the nest , but she can't get it to fit to suit her.
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Make that three:
Mum, what on earth do you think you're doing. Back and forth, back and forth, surely it can stay where it is.
No, round it comes again, right in front of the camera. Now moss moving. Ah thats better, maybe I can have a rest now. Don't want that intruder to land again.
Aha!! She want the new huge branch near the camera post where the intruder was sitting!!
Came back on line and have been watching that tree being moved round and round the nest. Do you think she has finished yet ?
I wouldn't take a bet on that, Brenda.
The sun is shining on the chicks, as EJ stands guard:
I have noticed that EJ has a "mad look" in her eyes sometimes, like now! lol
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
