Hi everyone and especially to Annette in SoCal - have posted a last note that I was starting new thread, hope that helps.
As you can guess, its raining or has been raining and EJ is soaked but managing to keep the wee ones undercover. I'm not sure how many fish were delivered yesterday but there were a few.
Rain seems to have eased and EJ is having a little stretch at the moment.
Happy watching to all of you around the globe. See you in the morning.

If only that intruder that just landed on the nest was Nethy - did anyone spot any leg rings? Just day dreaming.
Wow ... intruder alert ... EJ mantling and calling ... intruder lands on left edge of nest ... seen off by EJ

No Cirrus. I went straight to stills camera, but missed it. Wishful thinking for Nethy, but it would be nice.
Great capture Joan. Thanks
I can hear chirruping off camera ... think the intruder must be sitting close by ... EJ still calling and upset
Morning all: Another busy day at LG with lots of good general info about ospreys. I only started watching mid-2009 season so still basically clueless although I think I know the difference between EJ and Odin now! :-) But it'll get harder when our current chicks develop more color. Lindybird: "Biggest osprey chicks...." made me laugh too! Heather: A bijou panicquette? Hope you have le smelling salts handy for those. Lots to do today so will just pop in now and then....thanks so much for pix and posts, serious and funny!
EJ still shouting at intruder
This intruder is persistant
Intruder tried to land again. I presume Odin is away fishing.
Poor EJ is having a rough time with that intruder ... but she must think its safe now as she has left the chicks alone.
EDIT - just a quick comfort break!
