Thanks for the stats, jsb.
--- we really need an extra column for how much they weigh! - these chicks are huge monsters.
Morning All, Very newsy and amusing reports to read this morning. Thanks to ALL.
At least it is not raining on the nest at the moment.
Margo, have a fantastic day tomorrow and I hope the rain stays away.
Thanks for the stats, jsp.Lindybird: I hope the weight column is entitiled "Weight" because "Tonnage" is probably just a bit rude. LOL
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Unknown said: Thanks for starting a new thread so promptly Lynette. A few people posted very late on yesterday's Update, including Wattle, who noted an amusing incident that most people apparently didn't catch (it involves Titch!). Also, AQ said Good morning and Heron, who posted just after midnight UK time, has had internet connection problems, but that didn't stop him from praising Odin. Lynette: It might be helpful to folks in various time zones if you post a little note at the end of the "old" thread alerting them that you're starting a new one so they don't assume they're on the latest one? We're scattered all over and I have a hard enough time figuring out which day it is here, let alone in Oz, Finland, or anywhere else. :-)

OK will do, if I find I'm doing it first. Will let everyone know its being started.
Hi Brenda. EJ and the chicks getting restless:
She then flies off and returns with another stick.
Now she's back with something which looked like moss or bark.
A bit of rearranging, then EJ flies off leaving Chick#1 to finish the housework!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Just logged on, answered Annette in SoCal first.
EJ is having a flyabout - came in with a stick and promptly started to build up the fortifications , went again but came back with nothing so must have been a comfort break. Back on the nest, those unruly chicks thinks its breakfast all over again. EJ continues to do the housework and the chicks settle down.
EDIT: OG - saw that, with chick trying to move the stick ! wish I'd caught it on camera!
