Well another day has begun and EJ has her head down for a bit of shuteye, but for how long, before the family stirs. Lets hope she gets a bit of sleep. Trying to get comfy again. Those chicks are growing fast.
Goodnight all, see you in the morning.
To those who don't realise, I have changed my avatar to one of EJ in the evening sun, 2.6.10. Couldn't resist it.

I heard the racket and came rushing from the garden! Fish delivery ... EJ feeding chicks ... and Odin seems to be shouting at an intruder ... but EJ is unconcerned.

Odin arrives with large fish and the anticipated noise comes from him as he repeatedly warns off an intruder.
Chicks form the usual "front row" formation: ;-))
Well snapped Joan. Odin has gone to chase off intruders. Loved the way the chicks sat up in a straight line as soon as the fish arrived. Can still hear Odin chirruping loudly near the nest and other loud bird sounds which I'm afraid I don't recognise although I thought I heard a crow just before the fish arrived.
Edit: You snapped the formation well Sandy
Odin flies off and EJ continues to feed the chicks ... who are very orderly even though they must be hungry ... #3 centre stage of course!
Oh Thank Goodness for that! Was just beginning to worry....
Here they are lined up:
EDIT: I was out of the room again - many thanks for great photos, everyone!
I was beginning to worry, too, but of course we shouldn't doubt Odin ... fishing lines excepted! I can go back out to my gardening now with an easy mind :-)
He he! I went out in the garden because I could hear the blue tit chicks calling and lo and behold Odin arrives. Never mind, I don't care that I missed the fish delivery..............just that there was one. Phew!
No 3 still has a long way to go to catch up with the others for size....
Thunder...................................not good news. I see at LOTL it has been raining and thundering for a while. Good to see little Titch getting to eat now :)
EJ is just about force-feeding the three chicks .... they keep refusing ... and then having another mouthful!
