Well another day has begun and EJ has her head down for a bit of shuteye, but for how long, before the family stirs. Lets hope she gets a bit of sleep. Trying to get comfy again. Those chicks are growing fast.
Goodnight all, see you in the morning.
To those who don't realise, I have changed my avatar to one of EJ in the evening sun, 2.6.10. Couldn't resist it.

Thanks for starting the new thread Lynette. We nearly had a duplicate thread as I was starting to write a thread for the 5th of June myself when the email from your thread came through LOL. Nice avatar BTW. EJ does look stunning in the evening light.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Looks like EJ is telling the chicks a bed time story.
The chicks are restless. There is no left over fish for a midnight snack. Odin didn't bring a late fish delivery . They will be very hungry by morning . i expect EJ will start calling Odin for food at the crack of dawn !
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Hi Barbara Jean. The chicks have been quite restless tonight. I'm a wee bit surprised at this because Odin brought a fish just after 11pm last night (4th June). I guess it's just a case that they have a huge appitite. They seem more settled now though.Paul.
Can't beleive that's the LG dawn chorus starting, and it's only 2.45am.

Thanks Paul. I missed the 11 P.M. fish delivery .
Perhaps because they nap off and on all day they can't sleep for a long spell at night.
Poor EJ could use a few hours of continuous sleep. She is awake all day keeping an eye on them.
The way she has her wings spread to cover them it must be chilly tonight
morning all:)
Thanks for the new thread.
EJ is quiet on the nest. Love the chirps of the birds around her:)
Just noticed there was a lot of fish left on the nest and EJ starting a feed now , 3.30am
Good grief. Can't keep up with these chicks or the blog! It's just after 4 a.m. UK time and they're eating - again? still? And the daylight cam is already on....
Good grief The chicks are in a heap and EJ is feeding one while it is laying down. She is determined that they will be fat.
I recall last year when Roy Dennis did the ringing and weighted them he said the chicks were on the portly side If this keeps up This brood will be more than portly . They will be too fat to fly. LOL
