EJ looking at the camera at the moment, watching what I think is a feather stuck on the lens? Just turned round and is just resting as best she can.
Happy watching to all the earlybirds.
Night, night, back in the morning.

Thanks for reports - I've had visitors so have missed the last feed etc.
Yes margobird, they have wonderful eyes, I think that's what draws me to the Birds of Prey especially - did enjoy seeing a huge Bald Eagle on the Springwatch prog. last night.
It is lovely Lynette watchig them all curled up together having a snooze. Sibling rivalry doesn't seem too bad this year but it is early days I suppose. The fact that they have been so well fed must make all the difference.
Margobird
Too early to say that, margobird - these are all real little characters already, and the way Titch has already had a go at both of the older ones, I'd say watch this space!
The two older ones are getting adventurous again and even Titch has woken up and is trying to decide what to do.
Afternoon DjoanS it will be busy and Tuesday the most pleasant day for me. Donkeys are just so gentle and trusting and you wonder why sometimes as so many of them have been treated so cruelly. they do such marvellous work there and never turn a donkey away. Late birthday present for me but next year I will be applying to volunteer at Loch Garten. Can't do that until November but really hoping I will be able to for a week.
EJ and chicks have had 3 meals so far and they worry me to death when they get close to the nest edge. OK at the moment because EJ has put the baby gate up on the right hand side as you look so don't think they will get over that and anyway EJ is completely aware of what is going on, such a watchful Mum.

Yes I did Lindybird, such huge birds but so beautiful with it. Have you been watching the Springwatch webcams?
It looks as though EJ has gone to the edge of the nest nearer the camera to stop the little ones from clambering too much. All in a heap resting. So sweet. Mum watches over them.
Not had time, wish I had - I've have got it bookmarked here but am too busy.
Here is a nice shot of EJ's beautiful feathers, from the back:
That was soooo funny! EJ is trying to brood the chicks, but they are having none of it, and had little heads poking out from all directions....
Can't stop taking pics - this one I have labelled "Looking for Dad"
