EJ looking at the camera at the moment, watching what I think is a feather stuck on the lens? Just turned round and is just resting as best she can.
Happy watching to all the earlybirds.
Night, night, back in the morning.

LG Chick stats. To save you counting on you fingers!

I don't think it possible to upload a live spreadsheet? In this one the date function is =NOW() so that it is always showing the correct age. You could show the hours and minutes if desired.
So this is just an image.

Back from the shops and trying to eat breakfast whilst watching.
Hi Cirrus and thanks Alan for the clip.
EJ watching over her brood whilst the chicks sleep off the last feed. She seems happy just to watch them.
Thanks jsb and courtesy of Alan for the information. They all hatched pretty well on time then.
EJ goes off for a comfort break:
EJ returns and the chicks stir - are they hungry ??
Thanks to jsb & Alan for stats and info.
Chicks went back to sleep, so EJ admires the scenery and does her yoga on one leg again.
...........can't resist this one - EJ both headless and tailless !!
Oh Lindybird - another competition - headless and tailess - think you might win that one!

great pic Lindybird. EJ just preening and watching those precious bundles whilst they snooze.
Good mornong all and thanks to the regular nightshift for the observations during our night. What a wonderful day yesterday was, I am still smiling about it. Wonder if Odin will get another chance today to feed his beloved chicks. He really is one marvellous osprey. Sounds like they have been fed twice already and perhaps he is fishing again now. Odin must be thinking that if he catches lots of fish EJ will let him help with the feeding. As I typle the 3 little ones all in a heap while EJ preens and I am so glad they have had better weather for a few days. Think it is going to change at the weekend and they are saying next week will be unsettled.
My thanks to jsb and Alan for the stats and to all who post the pics of our family.
I am going to have withdrawal symptons for much of next week. On Monday afternoon will be going to Sidmouth, as I am being a donkey carer for the day at the Donkey Sanctuary. Did it last year as a late birthday present and asked for the same this year. Wonderful day helping to muck out, groom, walk the donkeys and feeding them. They are such gentle souls. We come back Tuesday evening and on Wednesday off to the hospital about my defective hearing. Thursday free but on Friday back to hospital to have more skin cancers dealt with. I am really going to miss EJ, Odin and the 3 chicks. I know I will be able to catch up with things although it will take a while.
