Well, quiet apart from muffled peeps from under EJ's tummy.
EJ up for a stretch and a fly about. Chicks bobbling about a bit and here comes EJ again. Well, chicks are clearly expecting breakfast, but - oh here comes Odin with big fish and all of a sudden the nest is abuzz. EJ feeding chicks now. Odin leaves. Titch in middle and having a hard time squeezing between #1 and 2 - and (a few minutes later) has managed to snag a few bites
Well either #1 or #2 chick appears to have fallen asleep on Titch; now the other large chick is flopping about too! All seem to be sleepy. EJ is now grabbing some bites but also rearranging twigs and poking about. Ah. Now she's settling down again - on quiet chicks this time. OK. So I'm off to bed. Happy watching folks.
EJ calling quite loudly and I think the chicks are adding their voices to the cries for Daddy!
EJ on her feet and chicks also. Some squabbling, or at least sparring, going on. It's all learning, isn't it?
Now EJ is getting quite insistent in her calls and the babes are restless. Where is Odin the Magnificent?
Came on to find EJ, the nest and chicks bathed in sunlight: lovely.
Chicks have gone back to sleep, EJ is calling continually:
One chick awake ( # 1 ??) and trying to see over edge of the nest, and joining in Mum's pleas for fish...
--those chicks are ENORMOUS now!
Two largest chicks have staggered to the front of the nest, looking over the edge near the camera, as if gazing at the big wide world: Titch still asleep in the background. Mum looks on to see if they can escape - "Hey, you two can't fly yet, you know!"
