Hi everyone.
EJ has just fed the chicks again and is now settling them down for the night.
What a day it has been, high drama this afternoon with the intruder about, but Odin and EJ defended superbly.
Chicks have been well fed despite the windy conditions for fishing. I think there was a total of 5 fish? Perhaps someone can correct that if I'm wrong.
Happy watching to those who carry on through our night. Goodnight, sleeptight EJ and family.

Been off air for a while so catching up with whats been happening.
Great commentaries and pics as usual. Switched on in time to see Odin on the nest. EJ was feeding them but they have now flaked out after that last feed.
EJ doing a few stick removals and looking at the camera as if to say "who are you". Now rearranging some furniture.
Lidnybird I don't know where they are putting it all but look at the state of them now, one sprawled out heap.
Margobird
all very full now, but still interested....
fabulous comentary as always everyone, thanks so much.
Mum having a preen whilst youngsters are looking on. Now one of them decides to move a piece of bark.
Now they all settle down for a nap and mum carries on with her wash and brush up.
theyve flaked out at last.....
before that, No. 1 (?) had a go at a piece of bark on the side of the nest...
Not quite yet with the nap, they are all up and moving around. EJ has begun to call again.
My God, EJ - she's shouting for food again now !! standing on one leg doing her 'yoga' as Annette says. One of the chicks did a poo and it flew through the air as if to go on the camera, but thankfully the wind blew it sideways!
Can't believe she is calling for food again but that is what it sounds like. Shouldn't think those little ones could get another mouthful down. Perhaps EJ wants a spare on the nest for later.
Hi Lynette EJ doing furniture rearranging now while chicks look on.
