Hi everyone.
EJ has just fed the chicks again and is now settling them down for the night.
What a day it has been, high drama this afternoon with the intruder about, but Odin and EJ defended superbly.
Chicks have been well fed despite the windy conditions for fishing. I think there was a total of 5 fish? Perhaps someone can correct that if I'm wrong.
Happy watching to those who carry on through our night. Goodnight, sleeptight EJ and family.

Titch even gets to the front on occasion when the others are too full!!
Lindybird and Barbara Jean you have to admire Titch, started off at the back but now at the front and all being fed. Really makes me feel good to watch this.
Margobird
Its a truly wonderful sight, margobird.
Titch making me smile it just took at poke at the largest chick. A really feisty little bird with some of Garten''s genes I think.
they are all hungry but Odin's made up for the wait by bringing in this monster:
This is brilliant to watch.
Have just been helping OH in the garden, which took a lot longer than I thought !

It really is Lindybird, fills me with joy watching. There are going to be 3 very full chicks soon, collapsing in a big heap.
No. 2 on the left, just had time for a quick spurt out of the nest!
Only No. 1 still shouting for food. others in a big heap, as Margobird says:
Good afternoon Brenda H glad you caught the feed. We now have 3 stuffed chicks all in a heap and EJ having a very welcome feed too. Can't get any better than this.
