Hi everyone.
EJ has just fed the chicks again and is now settling them down for the night.
What a day it has been, high drama this afternoon with the intruder about, but Odin and EJ defended superbly.
Chicks have been well fed despite the windy conditions for fishing. I think there was a total of 5 fish? Perhaps someone can correct that if I'm wrong.
Happy watching to those who carry on through our night. Goodnight, sleeptight EJ and family.

Lovely picture Lindybird:)
EJ flew off and Odin came in a couple of minutes later, fishless, and then EJ returned and they spent some quality time together:)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUrMBavNjjI
Thanks Gary. EJ must have just had a comfort break whilst I wasn't here:
drat! now I can't find the pic I took of the nest, as I've got so many....
Just watched your clip, Gary - nice to see them sharing the housework! How beautifully Odin landed on the nest in that wind, its a real art.
Hi everyone. Thanks for all the updates, pics etc. Have to go out for a bit so probably won't be back on until about late afternoon/ early evening time. Great to hear the chicks have had some food on a day that can't be very easy for fishing. Must admit to having built up a good wee collection of video clips, so many thanks to all concerned. Believe it or not I might actually be able to watch most of them one of these days. No honestly I will. LOL.12.44. EJ finally gets time for a nice relaxing preen.
Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Looks a bit warmer now, somehow. Chicks staying warm in a heap, EJ having time for herself and a nice preen again...
Wind is still gusting, though, and makes for another in the 'headless EJ' competition entry:
Afternoon everyone and thanks for the wonderful commentary of this mornings events. I have been out and about all morning so it is great to catch up. Gary : Thanks for the clip. I wonder if Odin is finding fishing difficult with that wind today. I expect it was easier in the early morning when it was calmer.
All was peaceful, then suddenly the chicks stirred, and one and two got up and started fighting again. Here is a pic of No. 2 laying down flat (on the right of pic) to avoid No. 1 who has just given him/her a nasty jab!
EJ just flown off again.
EJ returns, the chicks jump up to see if there is fish...
Good afternoon Lincybird love the pics you are putting on. The chicks really growing now and the largest is very active. EJ looking around and hoping Odin will bring a fish soon. Probably difficult for him with all that wind though. EJ now trying to get them underneath her but they are not really keen and managing to keep their heads out at least while EJ moves some furniture around.
