Daily Update (LG Nest) Tuesday 1st June

Thanks Linda. I have a good picture of the whole family as the fish was delivered but keep getting the red cross.

Keep trying Brenda - I got a red cross on my post yesterday, but when I clicked on 'post' and it appeared on the blog, it came out as a picture.

EJ now settled down on the eggs again, all quiet.  Rest of fish left on the side of the nest for later.

I tend to think it was an intruder on the nest as Odin came back with a fish fairly soon afterwards.

I've watched your clip of the possible intruder twice, Alan but can't make up my mind.... As the fish was delivered so soon afterward, it seems not to have been Odin, as where was the fish then? EJ's behaviour was strange either way, the way she flapped at the male bird. If it was an intruder I'd have thought she would have shouted at him more, and if it was Odin it was a bit ungrateful considering what a good provider he was yesterday....

EDIT     maybe she saw him leave it (the fish) in a tree, and was cross!!

EJ is dozing on the nest, with the occasional little one peeping out from her breast feathers. A bit more wind there today, I think, and not much sun, but at least its dry.

I went to warm up my drink, which has been going cold for half an hour, when I heard EJ feeding them again.

They are all lined up and are all getting some fish:

Thanks for the vid, Alan. Intruders are easy to spot because of EJ's reaction - she never reacts like that with Odin. The earlier pics on here are not Odin either.
