Ej is resting and trying to keep the chicks warm but they are getting quite big now and it makes it harder for her to keep them under her breast at night..
At least now she seems to be catching a quick nap.

Hallo Barbara Jean: I wonder what they do when they're in Africa or thereabouts. Wonder if they go to the same region..... Maybe we'll know in a few years when Rothes shows up (and who knows, maybe Mallachie and Garten).
Morning all! One of the chicks wanted out a bit but EJ tucked it back under her chest

Morning Auntie: Maybe the same chick who was trying to escape yesterday?
OH folks. Well it's pushing 11 p.m. here, so I'm going to call it a night. Odin showed up just the one time I saw him and fish delivery not confirmed (rather doubt it, but....). He's probably off rustling up breakfast now....
Oh funny. EJ off for a bio-break and chicks immediately up for similar relief (all except Titch). Ej now settling down again, although one chick is clearly more interested in seeing the big wide world - he/she is now lost under feathers while another chick is peering out from under Mom. OK. Really signing off now. Night all.
Morning everyone.
Fish delivery. 7.39 am.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
It's amazing how fast the chicks are growing.
Yes Heron, they really do grow fast :) They eat pure protein and huge amounts of it too, some bodybuilders, eh? My connection is acting up a bit so didn't see if every chick got enough this time.
Hi auntie.Didn't get a full look at the last feed myself but I did see chick #3 getting some food, although I'm not sure how much each one got. My connection has been acting up for months, so I know exactly how you feel.
Yep, I think my cat's ears are turning red 'cause all that industrial language (thanks for that expression, love it) I'm using every now and then LOL
