Off she goes for a break and wingstretch
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
She's back with a small branch
which she places before settling down.
Here she comes chirping
Was that a flash of lightning?
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Where did that fish come from that Odin just flew with?
I'm wondering if we've had a timp laspe catch up, as that fish wasn't there when EJ settled, and the last feed I saw the chicks get was from an almost tail fin.
Hi Mary! I was wondering whether this was your week in the area. Good to hear you are back from the 'boonies', and I hope you have a great time touring the ospreys areas. Really looking forward to your post 'on-the-spot' report(s) too.
I didn't notice, sorry Clare. It is rather dull now. I see that EJ might have some more fish left - thank you EJ for kindly moving an showing us!
Having moved to the left to reveal the fish, she checks the osplets
and settles
But of course, having revealed said fish, in comes Odin to take his share!

Odin arrives to eat some of that lovely fish:
Moffer I assumed it was left over from the one I missed? I just caught sight of something salmony-pink peaking out beneath her, when she moved and revealed it. Another nice brown trout. But where it came from ???
There was no fish on the nest when EJ returned from her comfort/fetch a small branch flight.
I have had a lot of freezes this afternoon, and we may have had a time laspe catch up, and missed a fish delivery. It's the only way I can explain it.
