I think that my internet connection is solid now. One post for the fish delivery and it just went.

Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
Hi ho,i send in two suggestions for names (Cullen and Silver) and did a bit of exploring the RSPB Loch Garten twitter stream. Ran into some more inside knowledge on the forward hide, besides some corners there occasionally having some internet-reception, that made me grin:
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!
Oh dear CC and Moffer, that does look indeed a bit not-like-a-fish.... o.-
"From the cup"... but where did she place it? or do you think we'd rather not know? o.o
Hi Otter. She flew off with it and came back without.
Thank you for that, that's what i would expect to happen...
Oh dear, how poignant. But in the larger scheme of things two osplets/chicks/juvies are probably better, with the likelihood of less sibling rivalry.
Otter, I think Cullen is already in use, at Loch Doon, but it is a lovely name. I have come across Ben Garlick on twitter, too. He sounds an interesting young man, with a knowledge of the LG area for his PhD - all found in the public domain!

EJ picks up the fish, and another feed starts
#2 has woken up, and managed to get out of #1's head lock.
The unhatached egg still seems to be intact??
It does Sheila. It's so lovely to see a happy nest with both chicks eating their fill.....oh no, #1 can manage some more, lol. S/He is huge compared to #2. ~2 wants some more now. Go on honey, you have some catching up to do.
