Well, we live in hopes,  Maybe the cam will leap into life?

  • ALIcAT I had the same problem a couple of times but then it sorted itself out.  Having said that i have only just logged in again so don't know yet if that is happening again.

Brenda I agree it seems to take ages,  in fact I have found the site a bit slow at times today.

  • super captures everyone. That last one Jane, is wonderful. 2 strong chicks, plenty of fish at EJ's feet:)

This is the "fish" update from David from LG if people haven't seen it-

"Update time. Fish number 4 has just been brought in but really I think Odin needs to slow down on his fishing at the mo, he doesn't seem to realise the chicks can't eat that much yet.

He brought the fish to the nest expecting EJ to take it but she just ignored him. So he thought he would to take it away and have some himself. He spent ten mins eating it before feeling all guilty and heading back to the nest where EJ continued to completly ignore him.

He therefore began to eat the fish while on the nest. At this point EJ suddenly decides that she does want the fish and begins to nag him.She then gets up, snatches the fish off him and begins to feed the chicks. A very confused looking Odin flies off the nest to ponder exactly what it was that he had done wrong........."

Cirrus that is such a good capture and good to know fish have been plenty today, in fact just a bit too much.  Much better than not enough though.

  • As there seems to be quite a few of you around now, I am going to see to our evening meal.

  • The pic was from this morning - I made a mess of capturing it and had to go out . When I came back I did not update the Still  camera just tried and tried to capture the pic from the Still camera. Finally, I got something to work.

Off out again so a very good evening to you all and let's hope the vid cam is back with us soon.- finding a good shot from the Still cam is a bit of a lottery. Sandy and Lindybird have REALLY done well with it.

  • Thanks, Cirrus - glad to be of help.  Thanks too to all who have kept us up to date today. I was out, and found myself wondering "perhaps that egg has hatched this afternoon..."

Many thanks to Gary  for the amazing osprey pic from the RSPB member - what a wonderful study of flight.

Glad to hear you have got the all clear, Alicat, that must be a relief.
