Good morning/night to all you early birds across the globe.
EJ looks peaceful on the nest with chirps now and again from the chicks
See you all in the morning.

Hi Lynette! EJ now in the role of all new mothers - up and down all night.
A couple of folks posted late blogs last night including AQ, who wondered if the earlier speculation that the two chicks were talking to the remaining egg could be a sign of early bossiness. :-) And Tiger suggested that didn't mean anything given Garten's example from last year.
Wattle: I responded to your comment re the quality of the live cam image on the previous past - I too have found the contrast/lighting very washed out these last few days and wonder if it's just the former colonies who are having this problem! :-)
Hi Annette. I'm pretty sure we're all watching the same camera, no matter where we live. It's occurred to me that the live camera was adjusted properly about the time there was a visiting TV crew at LG. Perhaps one of them adjusted the camera for the LG team? Last year we had some absolutely superb camera work done by (I think) David? He really spoiled us while he was at LG. I really do appreciate everything the LG team do for us, and the rare privilege it is to have this experience. The LG team are probably so busy that they just haven't really noticed the quality of the vision they are streaming, and that's the only reason I'm squeaking so loudly about it!
Smiles, Jan.
Hey Wattle: I just read the latest official blog from RSPB LG and see that others have commented on the quality of the image. I added my one-cent (typically it's two but, like you, I'm "squeaking" ) :-)
EJ still fussing now and then....
Off to bed here on the East Coast and EJ fussing around, as you say Annette:)
Catch everyone tomorrow
Well, a lovely little interlude just now as EJ went off for a fly about. She zoomed back and forth several times while the chicks waggled their heads and generally flopped about. One seems stronger and while the other one would sort of sit and then flop back down, this one opened its mouth and made odd little scratchy noises that all to soon will turn into shrieking demands for food! When EJ approached the nest on the right, they both turned to watch her. In the meantime, I opened up Internet Explorer (I typically watch through AOL) and was surprised to see a "Download this video" option at the top of the webcam screen. I was about to do that (then what, I've no idea) when EJ came back and settled on the chicks again. The other odd thing I noticed was that "straight" IE image was about 15 seconds ahead of the "IE via AOL" image. Interesting. I'm going to try downloading the video and then figure out what to do next. Hmm. Wonder if MWSnap would work on straight IE.....
Oh, we got color about 10 minutes ago.
Hmm. MWSnap still doesn't work. If I ask it to capture the Full Desktop, it does, but the live cam image from LG still shows black, which is what I get with the Window/Menu option. Oh well.
Well I just downloaded a bit of the IE view, saved it, but when I tried to upload it to YouTube, I got a message saying I couldn't upload a video that was already online...... Not sure I have to time to figure this all out...
Meanwhile, back at LG, EJ fidgeting and fussing.
Just for the record, the image and resolution are very clear right now. Contrast is perfect. Can almost count the twigs on the nest. Let's see how the day progresses.
Oh my. Odin flies in with fish (head off). EJ is now eating and feeding the young'uns. Odin leaves again.
