Hi all. Just starting this 'coz going out to birthday dinner with OH tonight (Indian - his choice). Back to catch up with last week's final posts later, (which included a great photo from OG's trip).
Oh, that's so restful Alan - FAB!

original goldfinch - It was the first thing I looked at this morning to see if Hope had been seen. Better news and fingers crossed they will be able to return her to Lily although you have to wonder why Lily moved so far away from her.

Glad that Hope has been seen and perhaps she is old enough now to manage on her own for a while. Could be a happy ending on the way. Lots to read above, thanks to the Night Shift - will get back to it when I've done some early chores.

Good morning Lindybird it is great news about Hope and hopefully they will be able to reunite her with Lily. Certainly feel a bit better now and hoping for a happy ending.
I have rushed around and done household duties, prepared the veg and hung some washing out so I can spend time watching andf waiting for the LG cam to be up and running again.

dibnlib Thanks for the pic of Dillon, what a beauty and he looks very noble as he takes in the sunshine.
As Margobird says, lovely pic of Dillon. He looks very content.
Here is a pic I took of the view at Heswall on Monday:
Buzz the Dog is the little brown dot in the distance on the grassy path! When we first reached the clifftop walk, we couldn't see the dog anywhere, and looked down to see him already on the beach, over 90ft below, looking up at us and saying "well, come on, then!" - we had to call him and then walk away (so that he thought he'd lost us) before he rushed back up a very steep path to join us again.
Morning all: Lovely photos Alan and Lindybird. They make me want to be there. Thanks OG for good news about Hope, but what kind of a Mom is Lily - wandering off and forgetting her kid! Diane: Those BP images are awful; they were saying on the news last night that if the well weren't shut off, it could spew for the rest of our lifetimes (didn't say whose lifetimes....)
Off to start day. Back later.
dibnlib How handsome and dignified Dillon looks, does he always behave with dignity or is he just a normal dog?
Lindybird and Alan Thanks for the lovely pics

A bonus use of seed catcher trays - sit the kids in it, and you don't even have to fly with the food to the fence where you usually leave them!
