Hi all. Just starting this 'coz going out to birthday dinner with OH tonight (Indian - his choice). Back to catch up with last week's final posts later, (which included a great photo from OG's trip).
TISH sounds a great book, you will love reading it I am sure
Book sounds fascinating tish, enjoy it will be very interesting to read about the early days at LG.
Margobird
Below is a link to the goshawk cam in the New Forest, not a brilliant picture but you can see them and parent was on the nest also.

Tish : I have heard of that book but never actually seen a copy. Should be a great read.
I think I may have put this pic on before but this is George the peacock taken at Bodnant Gardens in 2008. We saw him again there this year but this is a better pic:
Margobird, I find the best place to look at the webcams supported by Carnyx is on their own website. The window is a bit bigger than on the RSPB site and I find the navy frame better.

This does not, however, change the fact that the LG webcam isn't working!
George is very handsome in his full display Alan
Thanks for reminding me of this site Sue C have been watching the other cams and had completely forgotten. As you say a much clearer picture.
pic of Dillon enjoying the sunshine in the back garden
A pic of Dillon enjoying a lie down in the back garden
Dibnlib – eat a little something for me at Bruar (but no cream with it, thanks)!! Had intended to look up the chainsaw carver while we were on the Black Isle, then forgot to take the details - maybe next time! Lovely photo of Dillon in the back garden - looks so contented. Tish – that book sounds wonderful – like an early equivalent to Roy Dennis’ “Life of Ospreys”. Alan – great picture of George at Bodnant. Best ones I ever watched displaying were at Scone.
Am currently finishing postcards I bought to send last week! Only four more – may not be so ambitious on next holiday! Man is coming to start “painting” (treating) window frames outside tomorrow – starting 8:30 but apparently only doing about ½ day Wed, then maybe all day Thurs and Fri (but not if it is raining). He’ll then take a break while we are away.
This Rhea was pacing up and down rather at the wildlife park – but seemed to enjoy some attention from the camera:
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
