Hi folks: I'll be taking OH out to dinner for his birthday tonight, so will be MIA for a bit. Take care. All quiet on the nest now.

Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
evening all:)
Been checking in but not much action for a while so not posted.
EJ just had a short flight. She chirped to say she was going, chirped just before landing and chirped while settling. Lovely:)
Wattle: Thanks for the info re the cam. I was wondering why everything was so washed out in daylight - did think it was the overhead/midday sun since the contrast is better early morning and late evening. I'm assuming it's the same for the UK folks and not just the overseas watchers? The still cam seems to be okay.
So a second chick? That was fast. Hope #3 isn't too far behind.
The third egg is only on day 33 of incubation tomorrow so it is not likely to hatch until about Wednesday. Thus it will be a little behind the other two. But then there was an last year containing Garten and she soon forgot that she was to be the docile weak one.

Yaaaay !!!! 2nd chick. Laughed at the suggestion the chicks were talking to the egg. Bossing wee one already perhaps?
Lynette has started a new thread.
Marge feeding chicks at 5:35. One chick is laying on the other one, which didn't get any food.
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
