Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
Soosin said: another day of improvement for Marje.. We'll be calling in again on Saturday on our way to Perthshire for an afternoons Falconry with our daughter. Didn't think when we called in to the Lowes on Monday that we would see Marje again - - neither did the staff - - so its going to be nice. The chicks are doing amazingly well and like LG nest - no fighting. Hardly surprising considering the fish Franks been bringing in for them , they're absolutely "fu tae the gunnels' so no energy for anything but resting and clouting each other occassionally with wing stretches : )

She is back on the nest with the chicks at 9:30pm.
Good night :-)
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Hi there
I am not a regular visitor on here but I have to say it has been a very emotional rollercoster for Marge, Laird and their chicks over the last week.
So pleased that Marge is still thriving now and all seems a lot more settled.
It is a delight to us all that she is a fighter
So I thought i would add my quota here to show that I was very concerned and I care a lot.
Regards
Kathy and Dave
Wind looks to have died down.
It looks like a late deliver here and Lady is feeding the young ones Can only see one feeding, the other one must be the other side of her..
Welcome Blackbird, hope you enjoy watching like we all do
Thank you and Welcome Blackbird.
I'm only getting green screens here and at LG. Anyone else have a problem or is it me?
Welcome to the extemely addictive world of Osprey watching, Blackbird. :-)All peaceful on the nest, with the chicks being entertained by the giant luminous twig. Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Morning/evening all: Two wide awake chicks and day cam has just come on - am looking at Cam2 also; nice to see the action from two different views!. Interesting though, there seems to be a delay between what you see on one nest and the same movement on the other. Hmmm. Lady must be off somewhere
Hi Annette. Glad you've got your web cam viewing problems sorted. It really is nice to see the nest from two perspectives.
Speaking of two crackers.
M'Lady has just arrived.
