Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
M'Lady has just arrived. Now hopped to her balcony for early view of incoming Dad. She's calling for breakfast.
Well, it's either that we're looking down on the nest or one of the chicks has just lifted him/herself halfway up the sides toward Mom's perch (can't see Mom right now). Back down now.
Lots of wing flapping by one chick - won't be long before they beging to lift off and we all have heart attacks!
Well folks. It's pushing 10 p.m. here and I simply have to pack it in. No fish yet (on either nest). Where are these fellas?
Take care all.
Good morning.
Here is Lady on her favourite branch at 6:38 :-)
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Just logged in to see if Lady is continuing her miraculous recovery and lovely sight of hr feeding the chicks. I just marvel at her resilence over the past few days and just happy to see her doing so well. Back late, housework calls.

There is a write-up about her in the Daily Mail this morning :-)

Lovely earlier pic, Sandra. You get a great perspective of where the nest actually is with that pic.
Don't read the Mail but an article in the Telegraph on Monday virtually wrote her off, little did they know of the resilience of the old girl to recover and see her young ones fledge.
Lady is sat at the back of the nest and the two young ones are preening and sleeping off the feed.

Thanks for that pic to greet us this morning, Sandra. It's such a lovely spot for the nest there at LotL, idyllic. So glad to see that she is recovering well.
A fish has definitely arrived but I was watching the LG nest at the time
Best wishes Chris
