Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
Blog updated by Peter.
I'm sure I saw her eat but it would be great if anyone videoed the last fish delivery to have another look.
She has settled down by her chicks and keeps looking upwards and around her.
Camera has got gremlins again.

Lynnette. I wasn't talking of people being sentimental. I;m as sentimental as the best. I was talking about the sheer ignorance and nonsense spoken or typed by some. I wasn't being stroppy I was merely commenting to another member of SWT.

Peter is saying on the main blog that she didn't show any interest in the fish that was delivered......mmm. The "interactive" blog is down and they are doing their best. I think Fiona said last night that the webcam is fuzzy because it is overheating. She was using a fan to cool it down but its been fuzzy for a couple of hours or so.
According to new blog update No she never ate any fish. She showed no interest in it.
The Daily Record has covered the story. I guess they will have another story tomorrow. See http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/2010/06/21/wildlife-chiefs-fear-for-future-of-scots-osprey-after-admitting-25-year-old-bird-of-prey-is-close-to-death-86908-22349240/
Some bloggers get mentioned.

Well I have to go and adjust the straps on my daughter's end of school ballgown and will not post again here this evening unless anything major happens and I can't resist. I'm sure Lady took some bits of fish - I danced around the kitchen in celebration - but it seems not. Could Peter have missed it? Annette & Barbara Jean - huge thanks for all the posting you did overnight. I looked in this morning before work and it was great to read your overnight updates. Great to have people watching from 'over the pond' and elsewhere.
The story from STV. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJSWuT0vLVc
I came in to see another fish has arrived - Lady seemed unsure of what to do with it and stood with it for a while, then the chicks got hold of it and starting eating. She is still calling, and seems confused.
