Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
A very long feed so needed to split video into 2.

Thanks hazelwoods, that was lovely to watch.
Glad to see that the chicks have been fed this morning and that the male has been feeding the female again. I am beginning to wonder about the 3rd egg now. Lets hope it hatches today.
Late signing on today, thought I'd lost all my files but have found them.
Both parents on nest and looking at their offspring. Doesn't seem to be signs of 3rd chick yet!
By the way, Sand and Sue tried everything last night to transfer pictures but to no joy - thats probably why I couldn't get my files up this morning because |' d been fiddling about so much. Will persevere though.

They certianly are Sandy. What is even more amazing is the amount of time the Laird spends with Lady and his family, plus most times I look in they are being fed.
Thanks Sandy. Some people are reporting a crack in the egg. Personally I cant see it:

Me neither Alan and there have been some good close ups of the third egg this afternoon.
They are having good close-ups of the egg today, but there don't look like any cracks in it
