Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
HI all: Oh dear. So it looks like Lady has headed south.
Sandra: You've been brilliant on this page - such dedication. I know it must've been lonely at times, especially after Lady recovered and the spotlight shifted somewhat, but we all knew we could drop in and find out what had been happening. You deserve a medal! Thank you! What are you going to do now? :-)
Good morning all.
That is such a beautiful poem Lynette. Thanks for putting it on here.
Hi Annette.
Thank you for your kind words to me. I am really going to miss that Wonderful Osprey. I have had great pleasure in capturing such beautiful pics of her and her young for everyone to enjoy.
As you said in your post, a lot of bloggers came on this thread when she was really ill and then dwindled away when she recovered. There has been a few very loyal bloggers that stayed on this thread with me right to the end. All beit but a handfull, including yourself.
I want to thank you for reporting through the nights on behalf of myself and our other faithful bloggers.
Thank you!
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Thank you Lynette for putting on Nicks moving poem for Lady. I'm sure a lot of people will enjoy that. Interesting now to see when the young will migrate, themselves.
Chick 1 at 9am.
It is now Official. Our Lady of the Loch has left!! :-(
Chick 2 in tree and back on the nest.
Chick 2.
I have not seen any delivery of fish brought in this morning.
That's a lovely study, Sandra
Bon Voyage to dear Lady - safe journey and a peaceful winter in the warmth.
Breakfast 10:49. Chick 2 has it.
