Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.

Afternoon everyone. Just catching up with the news and I see that youngster#2 has fledged today. Great news. jsb the same story has made it to the BBC news - Lady is becoming more famous by the day and rightly so. Superb weather here - absolutely roasting now that the high winds have departed.

Well, mum and the two teenagers are still on the nest enjoying family togetherness. Lady has started shouting again to Laird to bring in the fish. They have already had one at least.

I was just looking at LoTL webcam and saw this lovely view of Lady. Does my heart good to see her looking so well after all the worries the other week.
Hi Sheryl: As you say the difference in Lady's appearance is truly amazing, I was there on the 21st June, until 5.30 and then saw the visit to the water on the hotel TV, just after 6.30 PM. The next day I was back at LotL at 9.30 AM, when Peter and the staff, were still in shock, as I was too. No explanation of what really happened has been forthcoming, just that she was really ill, from an undiagnosed cause.

Sheryl I was watching this close up of Lady earlier and thinking the same. Who would know that she had been so ill. It does my heart good too.

Can't raise either of the LOTL cams this morning. Yesterday there were thunderstorms and a note from Emma saying they'd have the cams up ASAP..... Lovely pix folks. Thanks! :-)
Cam is on again. Just looked in and no-one was on the nest, looked at something else and two youngsters appeared. As I write, one has taken off again
Looks like both youngsters are off the nest and having a flyabout, landing close bye. No sign of Lady at present but she is probably close by too.
Lynette close up of both youngsters back on nest now and Lady on her favourite perch.
Wonder where Sandra is not many postings from her hope she is OK.
