Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
Look how brown this one is.
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
I have to go and do some housework :-(
Bye.
Lady Marge enjoying the view from her favourite branch.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Sandra and Heron77 thanks for the pics. Each one precious now as we don't know whether we will see her again this year. She certainly looks so much better now. Sandra I agree with you they do look like females. They have had such a good start to life and just love it when they are cuddled up side by side.

Good mornng Emma Peel I think they are both very laid back mini opsreys. Love to see the way they sleep together as well.
Nice to see them all doing so well. They do sort of look female, don't they?
(love Heron's name for her: Lady Marge !)
One of the chick honing its nest building skills already, Moving a couple of twigs around. Yet another happy nest with sated chicks happily preening and Marje nibbling still on some fish that the chicks are showing no interest in.

Afternoon Soosin it is joy to watch Lady and those well fed chicks and there is always some food left for Lady. She is sitting on her perch looking over the Loch and looking better as each day passes. I don't believe they will never know what caused her illness and I still find it amazing over a week on that she managed to recover.
Just popped on to see Lady on her favourite perch and the young ones alert, preening or watching.
Now Lady is back in the nest There is an update on the main blog of LOTL site.

Morning all: A quick hallo before I disappear for the day - back later this evening.
Sandra: Sorry I missed you this morning; thanks for pix! I assumed I was the only one on line and didn't check previous posts before I topped into bed. :-)
Take care all - and especially Lady Marge.
