Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
Evening all. Empty nest.....
No action at all on the nest this evening..... Take care folks. I'm off to bed.
Good morning all.
None of our little family has been around, I have been watching on and off since 5:30. Lot of other little birds coming to the nest.
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
I have just heard one calling . ooh here it is
Heck, it has just flown off!!

Looking in to find an empty nest, surprise, surprise. Weather looks sunny but could be deceptive.

Good morning Sandra and Lynette as I type can see one youngster on the nest but not sure who it is. I watched quite a lot yesterday and only managed to see one juvenile the whole day. I think it is possible that migrarion is not far away now and the wonderful Laird and his family will be leaving us. The sad thing is we will never know how they get on. I wish them all a safe journey and thinking of Lady often and hoping she is well on her way safely.

Just looked again at the youngster and he is flat in the nest as though there is an intruder about.
Laird alarm calling and Eldest goes flat on the nest:
