Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
This chick is still waiting - oh what a hard life!!

Chick 1 or 2's attention has been caught by something going on behind him. Seems to have flown off now.
Couple of pics of Eldest:
Chick 1 just landed on the nest, Seems to be an intruder about.
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Chick mantling.
Lynette.
The peom One Day Soon, had me in tears!!
To think that when these young leave, they most probably will never see each other again!! :-(
Good evening Sandra, Lynette and Sandy. Thanks for the pics and do you know whether either chick has had a meal yet.
One Day Soon really started me off again, but so beautifully written for our wonderful youngsters who will disappear from our lives soon.
Off to bed now as I feel so awful, hoping to be feeling a lot better tomorrow. Have a good evening all.

Margo.
The times I have been on here today I have not seen a fish delivery. Everything is so quiet on the nest and Loch now at 8:50pm. If Laird brings a fish in before I switch off at about 9:15, I will let you know.
So sorry to hear you are not feeling so well. Have a good sleep and I hope you will feel a lot better tomorrow!
Love Sandra.
Feeling so sad to see the nest empty at 9pm!!
