Thought I'd start a separate thread for the posting of news, updates, pictures etc. from the nest at the Loch of the Lowes. Now that the first chick has hatched at Loch Garten the Daily Update page is going to get too unwieldy if it is used for news from LotL as well as LG, and the "News From Other Nests" is getting pretty full as well.
Camera still not working, but link to Latest Blog is now working, which it wasn't about an hour ago!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
It looks as though the camera will be down till morning, lets hope not, but who can tell.
We'll all have to catch up with the news in the morning I fear.

Thanks for the heads up OG . Trying to read it but it seems, so is the rest of the planet . I'll try again a little later.
Fiona posted on the LoTL site that she is off to restart the computer and see if that resolves the webcam problem.
Fiona is still trying to get the webcam up but if she can't manage, she will keep everyone informed of what is happening. They are so good.
That is very kind of her. She knows just how much the webcam and news mean to everyone. I think they appreciate all the support because they could otherwise feel very alone in all this.
Camera still down.
Hallo all: Tiger: Thanks very much for encouraging info about succesful resolutions to previous incidents/calamities. Do appreciate your taking the time to clue us in. It's so great to have long-time experience, especially now.
Dark at LOTL now - cam is up but can't seem much apart from that pesky branch that's blocking the view of the nest. Peter et al must be worn out, but they were still answering comments a little while ago so assume someome's there again tonight.
Will check back as the evening progresses. Take care all.
Daylight cam is now on at LOTL and Lady is still there - she has her back to us. Also, there's a new blog from Fiona.
Lady just sat up and looked around; shook her head; looked alert for just a few seconds and has settled again now. Am hoping so much that some food gets dropped close to her today!
