Daily Update (LG Nest) Friday 21st May

EJ has just had another egg turning session.  Clarity of night vision is much better.

We await in anticipation, today could be the day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cuckoo just gave his evening call

Probably trying to tell us, we are all cuckoo.

Those shell really must be tough when you hear the noise they make as EJ rolls them around. It would be nicer for the chick if it didn't hatch 'till morning. It would then be able to dry in the warmth of the day and have a meal sooner. ( As long as Odin goes fishing early)

Brenda H: I agree that a hatching in the early morning would be just great - if you remember from last year Odin was a great early fisher.

Gone to b/w and night vision.

Gary am trying a new programme from google browser called  DEBUT video capture software with snapshot facility - taping and taking snaps great but unfortunately won't let me transfer them to this page.

    All peacefull at both sites.

Lynette, this blog won't allow the direct posting of video's. That's why I put mine on YouTube first. Sure if you uploaded them to that, then copied the link here, that would work?

    PS Those eggs are loud!!!

Well, ladles and jellyspoons, boils and girdles it's beddy bo-boes time. I hope the cuckoo doesn't keep our EEEJ awake. I shall expect a full report tomorrow from all you, who unlike me, are non-lightweights. By the way EEEJ is wriggly again and chick vocalising...but I must retire before I falll asleep and wake with the keyboard printed backwards on my face

  • Every time EJ shuffles about the noise from the chick is getting louder and louder.

    [/quote]Yes Brenda, but we are!!!!!!!!!!

  • True Lynette, we must be.

We are on page 26. That is a lot of comments !

  • Since the infamous hum has been reduced (thanks team!) I've turned the sound up and I can hear the clunk of the eggs as EJ turns them.

  • Yes Sandy, that is what I mentioned before. It sounds like stones knocking together.
