Hi to all early morning watchers. Looks peaceful at the moment at LG.
EJ sitting and perhaps dozing off from time to time. Got to get her beauty sleep before the young ones arrive.
All peaceful at LOtL as well.

EJ is extremely restless . She is constantly getting up and looking under herself . She is facing away from the camera so I can't see.
When she isn't moving she has her head down like she did when the chicks were very small and she was shielding them from the cold
I wonder if we have a chick
Edit : Now she has settled down, but she is still resting with her head down

Hi Barbara and Lynette
The center were guessing Sat for the chick but who knows. She has been very restless today so....
Gary,
Sat will be the 37th day which is just the "average" so we will need to wait until morning
Day 34 of incubation today for EJ
In 2004 the first egg hatched after 36 days
In 2005 Henry destroyed the eggs.
In 2006 the first egg hatched after 38 days
in 2007 Henry destroyed the eggs of the first clutch. The first egg of the second clutch after 34 days but none of the chicks survived.
in 2008 the first egg hatched after 36 days
in 2009 the first egg hatched after 36 days
So in 2010 is it going to be Friday for the first egg hatching?

Thanks Barbara and thanks Tiger for that great info. So anytime but maybe not till Friday.
It's 3am and she is fussing over the eggs. She must feel/hear something from them now:)
Happy Wednesday everyone:)
Hi everybody! Thanks for all the speculation and information. Looks like we'll all be glued to the screens in the next couple of days - and thereafter. It's almost light at LG, but still on night cam. EJ on the eggs. (Anyone know how the name EJ originated and what, if anything, it means?)
Annette her leg band is white with EJ on it .
They called her "White EJ" and then shortened it to EJ. The center had a contest to give her a name and the majority wanted to stay with EJ

EJ just got up, chirped, and flew off. We're still in black and white and I think that's her who just came back. Yes, not the tentativeness while getting on the eggs that we see with Odin.
Thanks Barbara Jean: That is EJ on the eggs now, right?
