Evening all. Good grief. We already have color at LG. EJ is on the nest; all looks peaceful.
Lynette: You asked Gary where he's located. He did answer you the first time around (Saturday?), but seems you either missed it or the posts got messed up. Anyway, you asked again yesterday and Emma responded; then Gary responded again (he said he wasn't ignoring you!). Anyway, Gary is in Connecticut in the Eastern U.S., but he's a Brit, like me! (Sorry if this all sounds complicated)
Catching up again and I take it it is still Odin sitting whilst EJ is away.
Thanks for all your pics they really are fantastic and it is so nice to hear that they have been sharing the last fish together, ahhh. it warms the cockles of your heart to see such affection between them.

Odin was looking upwards then, can he see EJ I wonder?
Did anyone answer Annette's query, re chick's time taken to exit the egg? Chipping the shell from the inside will be tricky, my 'boy scout' recollections were that birds in the egg stage have a specially shaped tip on the beak, but no reference to the the time taken, on the web. Not too long for EJ's weans, I hope.

Looking at LOtL and Marje is calling, must want a break or can see her mate. Does anyone know whether she has eaten today.
Odin looks fidgity at the moment, those chicks must be moving about a bit and he can feel it surely.
EJ having a good break before sitting for the night shift.
All I could find on the net about time to hatch was for chickens that can take up to 24 hours to peck their way out of their shells

EJ flies in chirping and Odin up up and away and EJ settles down again. She had a good long break.
EJ returns and Odin leaves.

Lyynette, I have just checked LotL blog and they say that Marje had a large fish at 11am today.
10.02 pm and EJ swoops in to relieve Odin.
Interesting that the camera was still in colour until 10 pm tonight. Can't believe how quickly the nights are drawing out up at LG (it's pitch black here in the Midlands) and there's well over a month before the summer solstice.

Thank you for that info. She was calling tonight but I don't think anyone came. At least she's been fed today.
