Looking at the site at Rutland Water. Female having a turn of the eggs and now settling down again. Lovely and calm there as it is here in Northants.
Would be nice to do a diary for the MantonBay (Rutland) as update on other nests now takes ages to get to the end and update.
Do they have names for these two at MantonBay. Please note I have changed the name to Manton Bay (Rutland) nest updates as a suggestion from Sandy. Hope this meets with everyones approval.

Not looked in for ages. Webcam pics are not very good at my end so don't post them now.
Super pics Sandy and glad you could get up there to take them.
Seems migration hasn't started there as well.
Just found the rest of your pics, Sandy and Alan, fantastic action shots. So glad you both got to go and see them and managed to get some great captures.
Can't get the webcam up for Rutland. Expect that all the family will be migrating very soon.
Lynette: I think the webcam is kaput!
When I was there yesterday the screen in the Lyndon centre was showing recordings from earlier in the season.
I think that they will be there for a while yet - tried to see when 5R migrated last Autumn - he was still there on 26th August. The Rutland ospreys tend to leave a little later than those up North.
All the birds are still around at Rutland Water.
Latest tweet:
"Four fish bought in between 6am and 9am this morning. 2 from female, 2 from 5R- one caught from the perch in Manton Bay. "
Thanks Alan. Wish I was there today instead of being stuck at work. Would have loved to see 5R catch a fish from the perch in Manton Bay - was he using a rod and line? LOL
Website updated, with news from Manton Bay & Site B nests.

Afternoon all and this morning I spent a brilliant 2 hours in the Shallow Water Hide. There were 6 different ospreys around at one time. I think the extra one was a juvenile from one of the other nests but it was too difficult to id them for certain. There was quite a lot of flying around and trailing feet in the water but I did not see a fish being caught. Most of the time there was a fish on the nest and one or other of the juves was feeding. I took one or two pics. Not great as I dont have a very powerful zoom lense.
Thanks for the pics Alan.
