OK. Date and year are okay. EJ on her nest; Light over the horizon. Here goes another day at LG.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Just slightly away from LG, I've started a new thread on Rutland as it takes so long now to trawl through the pages on news from other nests. Let me know if you agree or not.
EJback and gently nudged Odin off eggs. Settled quickly, Odin stayed a few moments and were communicating together, so nice to see, then Odin flew off but came back towards the nest so is probably sitting just below on the dead tree.
EJ had a quick break. Only long enough to eat her fish. It appears they are both on intruder watch . They make a great tag team :)

EJ just had a fly around and returns to the nest. No sign of Odin.
EJ just went for a quick exercise/comfort flight. I don't think Odin can be around or he would have been straight in there to egg sit ... he never misses a chance :-)

EJ just returned and as usual had to push Odin off the eggs,
The weather has been cold, rainy and snowy and that can affect the survival of chicks. However, EJ & Odin have not left the eggs exposed for more than one minute. I think that bodes very well for the chicks.
When EJ needs to take a comfort break Odin "rushes" to the eggs to keep them warm.
7 days until the first chick should hatch :)
Just had a fight to get on here again. Site is very awkward today. Glad to hear that there has been a fish, thanks for posts and pics.
Hurray! I've got the webcam now, at last. Can hear the wind gusting loud again today. EJ was just at edge of the nest, having a preen, and now she has come to egg sit again.
EJ having a preen, but being blown about by the wind on the edge of the nest.
Intruder alert - EJ shouting again and mantling ... intruder tries to land
Then Odin flies to the rescue!
